Bridging Generations: Social Media Strategy for a System of Senior Living Communities
As the driving force behind the social media strategy for a prominent senior living community system comprising of 25 individual communities, I orchestrated a campaign aimed at increasing awareness and driving traffic to the corporate blog. A key objective was to extend the reach to younger individuals seeking educational material about caregiving for their loved ones.
The strategic implementation of Pinterest proved instrumental in achieving these goals. Through visually appealing and informative campaigns, we curated content that not only resonated with the target audience but also showcased the essence of the senior living communities. Visual storytelling became a powerful tool, allowing us to convey the warmth, care, and quality of life offered by these communities.
The heart of our campaign was a concerted effort to provide valuable educational resources. By addressing the informational needs of individuals caring for their elderly loved ones, we positioned the senior living community system as a trusted source. This dual-focused approach not only increased awareness among the primary demographic but also successfully engaged a younger audience seeking guidance on senior care.
The results were tangible — a notable uptick in website traffic to the corporate blog and heightened brand visibility across social media platforms. This project underscores my ability to craft and execute social media strategies that not only meet immediate objectives but also align with the broader goals and values of the communities I represent.
